Leanna Marchand is a registered nurse (RN) and licensed attorney (JD). She is certified as a Guardianship Ad Litem and a member of the Texas State Bar College. She obtained her B.S. in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University. In 1996, she received her J.D. degree, with honors, from Southern Methodist University. She was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. Mrs. Marchand has worked in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, pharmaceutical litigation, health care law, healthcare licensure defense, Guardianship, Wills & Probate, and Family Law. Leanna Marchand is a founding partner of Marchand Law, LLP in Dallas, Texas.
Mrs. Marchand is a member of The American Association of Nurse Attorneys, American and Texas Nurses Association, and is a Director of the Texas Chapter of the American Association of Nurse Attorneys. She also serves as Director on the Board of TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation, whose mission it is to raise funds for pediatric cancer research. She has been published in several nursing and legal journals, books, and authored continuing education courses. Mrs. Marchand has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Law Student Division of the State Bar of Texas. She also previously served as a member of the Membership Subcommittee and Nominating Committees of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. A fifth-generation Texan and native Dallasite, she enjoys playing tennis, hiking, anything history related, and most of all, spending time with her large family (including their new German Shephard).
